Is a new code needed to install the software on the PC?

A: You need to get the software and the data on the other computer.

1. Install Point of Success on the new computer just as you installed it the first time
2. Exit all Point of Success programs on the original computer
3. On the original computer, go to Start > All Programs > Point of Success > Data Utilities and make a data backup
4. On the original computer, go to Start > My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Point of Success > Backup
5. Copy the most recent backup file (the one you just made) onto removable media like a USB flash drive or a CD
6. Take the removable media to the new computer and open the Point of Success Data Utilities program there
7. Restore your data onto the new computer

You will need to reregister Point of Success on this new computer because the registration uses a unique computer ID code
